Our Ethos — A Manifesto

Movement as a conversation
with your body —
not a punishment of it.

Vital and Strong is a quiet rebellion against fitness culture that asks women to shrink, suffer or prove themselves. We train for a life of strength, steadiness and ease — at every age, in every season.

01 — Foundation

Sustainable over extreme.

We train for the next thirty years, not the next thirty days. Every session compounds, quietly, into a body that lasts.

02 — Practice

Curiosity over certainty.

Bodies change — especially in the approach to midlife. Good coaching listens before it prescribes, and stays open to what the day actually asks for.

03 — Balance

Strength with softness.

Power and gentleness are not opposites — they are partners. We build one so the other has somewhere steady to land.

04 — Rhythm

Small, steady, repeatable.

Consistency outpaces intensity, always. Precise, controlled and considered movement that incorporates weights and resistance will help you to create a body built to last.

05 — Company

Honest company.

No hype, no fear, no quick fixes. Just a thoughtful practice, shared openly, together.

Strength with Intention

Strength isn't loud. It's the quiet confidence of a body that can carry what life asks of it — heavy bags, long days, difficult seasons — without breaking.

Body & Mind, In Conversation

The body keeps the score — and it also holds the answers. Yoga and Pilates sit at the heart of what I do because they ask you to listen: to your breath, your tension, your edges. I constantly modify and adapt exercises to help you maintain and progress.

For the Woman in Transition

Perimenopause, menopause and the years around them ask a lot of us — and offer very little in return by way of guidance. Here, you'll find honest, informed coaching that meets you where you are.

Start Where You Are

You don't need to arrive fit, flexible or fearless. You just need to arrive. If this is the kind of coaching you've been looking for, book a conversation.
